Hello! Do you have any home remedies? Here are a few I have:
Mix plain oats with water, and try to mush it up. Try to make it as starchy as possible, then add a small amount of lemon. Rub this into your face, and let it sit for a little while. Then, wash it off. The oats should help take any inflammation out of your face, and the acid in the lemon helps remove dead skin. The vitamins in these two foods are also good for your skin. This video is also pretty cool,

Raw honey makes a wonderful natural face wash. It regulates oil production, and rinses off cleanly with water. If you get the really raw kind that is crystallized it also adds a gentle exfoliant. The longer you let it sit on your face the greater the benefits as well.

I'm going to try this, it sounds great! Does anyone have any hair saving remedies? I have super long hair but it's a bit dry and tangles very easily. Have tried several hair masks, conditioners, sprays, etc it's not having the desired effect. I just want tangle free shiny hair

It doesn't work very well if you have oily hair, but it leaves my hair with a beautiful shine and tangle free! Just use a comb or fingers, and spread just a small amount throughout all of the hair. Don't use too much or it will leave your hair a greasy mess! A drop the size of a dime should work, if you have thick hair maybe a nickel-sized drop.

I once got a horrible reaction to strawberries and got a itchy red rash all over the face. Applied oats (no lemon) to my face and after rinsing it off my face the reaction was half gone. Magic I tell you! I also really like to mix extra virgin olive oil and sugar (I like the type that isn't so finely milled) and use it to exfoliate. Just rub it gently over the area for maybe 1min. Works great on the face, body and lips!

I have a boat load of things like this. The ones that I've tried (that seem to work) are: Homemade Hair Remover 1 cup of honey 3/4 cup of molasses 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp. lemon juice Be sure to heat it up enough to where its not too hot. Stir, apply to area you want to wax and remove it with linen strips. And Bubz Beauty Green Tea Facial Scrub.

Thank you, this is awesome. Very informative, I'll be subscribing now. Check out her DIY recipes to try video too. Some of the things I remember, she mentions to never use lemon or any citrus on your face since it's an irritant and throws off the pH balance of your skin, be careful of what exfoliant you use on your face like sugar or other crystalline exfoliants since they make micro lacerations and can age you faster. She recommends jojoba beads that you can mix with your preferred cleanser for exfoliation. She also mentioned raw honey as a miracle product which was a few posts up too.

I love threads like this, but shouldn't it go in the skincare forum? It's still empty and could use a nice thread like this. Does anyone have any hair saving remedies? I have super long hair but it's a bit dry and tangles very easily. Have tried several hair masks, conditioners, sprays, etc it's not having the desired effect. I just want tangle free shiny hair I know what you mean with this, really long hair just requires a special sort of conditioner. I'm still looking for something perfect. I find it helps to brush my hair before I shower to make it easier to condition. It also helps to put a small amount of camelia oil in the ends of my hair after showering. I've heard that using a silk pillow case helps a lot, and also putting a lot of olive or coconut oil in your hair and wrapping it in a hot towel and leaving it that way for at least 30 minutes before showering.
