My first dress was a Whimiscal Vanilla-chan replica by OoJia. It was one of her earlier replicas so a lot of detail that she puts into them now wasn't present. I got it from another girl who was selling it at a convention and thought it was cute. I enjoyed it, but in reality it was actually too big and too short. I altered it into a skirt, but then I ended up losing weight and bought the real version in a different colorway. Aaahh another replica firstie!! (┘￣︶￣)┘└(￣︶￣└) My first was DoL's Fantastic Dolly in red, I still have it and comparing it now to brand or indie brand quality it's goddamned atrocious. No idea what I was thinking at the time I bought it/ |

My first piece was a handmade skirt, and then I finally threw down the money and got Baby's Parfait print jsk in brown. It was love at first sight.

My first dress that I thought was Lolita was a yellow and red floral dress with a psuedo-Japanese overskirt thingy and a lot of crappy velvet ribbon from Bodyline, back before anything they sold was really actually Lolita. My first dress that was Lolita was a pink jumperskirt with iffy white lace from Rakuen. I sold the one from Rakuen, but I still have part of the dress from Bodyline and I intend to alter it one day.
